They will help you with your tackle and bait. The mate will prepare your catch for eating and shipping home. If you are not satisfied with our 1st Mate’s effort, please let the Captain know before paying your gratuity. We want to know if our service is not up to expectations.

If you cancel within 14 days you will be charged 50% of your total trip. Several days before your trip we call you to confirm weather and departure time. After confirmation if you cancel within 48 hours or do not show you will be held responsible for the trips total price including gratuity of 20%. Cash payments are collected when you board the boat on the morning of your trip. Credit cards are charged on confirmation 48 hours before the trip.

Departure Times will be confirmed a few days before your trip. Late arrivals count as fishing time. Please arrive at the boats 30 minutes before confirmed departure time. Upgrading is available on all offshore trips if you decide to spend more time fishing. Call 781-545-6516 for details.
Guarantee: There is never a 100 percent chance of catching a target trophy fish, but we can guarantee catching something on our 10hr trip which may include bait and some bottom fish creatures. It may not be the target species but we will catch “something”. Our primary goal is to catch the species you want to catch, but Mother Nature does not always agree. You will have to be flexible and go with the captain’s suggestions. If “you” chose to spend your whole day on one species of trophy fish there may be some days we do not capture one.

Weather Refunds and Cancellations: In the unlikely case we are experiencing bad weather or mechanical issues we will refund any money back to you or your card. NO refunds for return because of intolerable or illegal behavior, this includes being drunk. All refunds for unsafe weather or poor fishing conditions are at “The Captains Discretion”. Please ask us about our policies when you book.
Underway Time: Travel out to the fishing grounds and travel back home is part of the total trip time. Most trips take less than 1 hour to start fishing but can take up to 2 hours to get home. Traveling from one fishing ground to another is part of fishing time. Inshore trips you are generally fishing within 30 minutes.
For Safety reasons (Alcohol): Beer and wine is allowed within limits, drunk and disorderly is not tolerated! Any passengers considered intoxicated will be asked to wear a life jacket and the trip may be cancelled with no refund. We can not be responsible for passengers who fail any intoxication test. There are no immediate emergency services in the ocean, safety is our chief goal. Return to port for unsafe conditions or intolerable behavior are Captains Discretion and non refundable. Please ask us about our policies when you book.
For Safety reasons: Please notify us when booking if anyone is limited in mobility, handicapped or requires special attention because of their size or age. We also would like to know if there are any children under 13 years old and what age they are so we can anticipate the clientele of the trip.
Required by Law: Children under 13 must wear a life jacket at all times. We supply life jackets or you can use your own.
Boat Capacity: All of our Boats Cannot Exceed 6 Passengers
US Coast Guard licensing and regulations. Please review our recommended capacity for each boat in the charts at the top of the pricing and booking page.
Surcharge for Fuel: We take into consideration and cover the fuel for our trip pricing, however if the prices of fuel are over $6.00 per gallon we may ask for additional fuel surcharge of $10 per mile beyond 25 miles offshore. In the unlikely case this happens you will be notified well in advance of your trip. We apologize for the ups and downs of our economy but to have your best chances of catching we may have to travel a bit further than the normal 25 miles or less on a 10hr trip.
What to Bring?
Clothing: Please consolidate your items! The air temperature is generally 10 degrees cooler on the water. Please dress for it. You will almost always need a sweatshirt and or light rain jacket. It is recommended to wear footwear that can get some fish blood on them. If you have short boots even better. You can always take layers off. At least put the clothing in you car and you can ask us what we suggest you bring when you meet us at the boat in the morning.
Medication: If you need insulin, epipen or any other medication to make it through the day this is required on the boat.
Girly things if you’re a girl.
Children Under 13 Years Old: If you have a child under 13 years old they legally need to wear a life jacket. We typically have one that works for them but if you have one that fits great please bring it with you!
Sunblock: Water magnifies the sun. You will need it even if its a cloudy day.
Sunglasses: Protect your eyes. They will also allow you to see fish and sea life a lot better.
Food and Drinks: Bring enough food and drinks for yourselves. We bring our own food. You’re only going fishing for one day, please don’t bring enough to survive for a week! You will need to bring a cooler larger enough to store your items. Do not bring extra coolers. Consolidate your items so you have extra space on the boat. Thank you!
Coolers and Ice: Please consolidate your items! You will need a cooler large enough to contain your food and drinks for the day. Please leave empty coolers in your car so you have a place to put your fillets at the end of the day. We have space on the boat to hold all of the fish and fillets until we get back to the dock. We have plenty of ice for the fish onboard. We do not need extra ice. If you put some in with your drinks that’s fine. Thank you!
Phone Charger: Typically you can charge your phone on board but we recommend bringing a battery pack with your phone.
Money: If you are paying cash for the trip we will typically collect in the morning prior to the trip. If you’re paying cash for the mates gratuity (usually around 20%+) please bring the cash for that as well. If you are paying for either or by credit card please let us know when we call for confirmation prior to your trip.
